In addition to their business and personal accounting services, they also specialise in innovation funding. In 2021 they acquired sister firm, Kench & Co which is located in Henley.

Business Objectives

We started working with Ridgefield in 2018 when we were asked to look at rebranding the business to better reflect the young, dynamic team. The other challenge was to create a new brand that gave them a brand personality and different approach to mainstream accountancy practices. The working relationship continues with a major upgrade of their branded website, launched in 2022.

What Did We Do?

We started the process with a Discovery phase to capture the full picture of what matters most to them and what their future goals are for the business. It was clear that they had big ambitions to both stay independent and to achieve strong growth, in part through acquisition. We created a contemporary and distinctive brand strategy & identity to fit their thinking.

The playful use of the speech mark and full stop within the RC lettering, gives the branding an approachable and open feel that captures the style of the business. Although they decided to use a web agency initially, Ridgefield subsequently came back to Luna to apply the brand positioning and creative to a new branded Wordpress website.

Deliverables Achieved

This is an exciting phrase in the development of the business, but their success is no longer defined purely by turnover figures or client portfolio numbers. Instead, they measure themselves against staff retention, client retention, reputation and the ability to demonstrate how they are unique amongst their competitors.
